This policy covers the AdMind website and its scanner. It is written to meet the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. The short version
- No account, no newsletter, no cookies, no analytics and no tracking.
- When you run a scan, your image and text go through our server function to Google's Gemini API, which creates the report. AdMind does not store your image, your copy or the report.
- Your browser remembers how many free scans you have used (local storage). Nothing else is stored.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website and its scan function are hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, on servers that may be located in the USA. When you open a page or run a scan, Vercel processes technical data that every browser sends: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page or endpoint requested and your browser's user agent. This is needed to deliver the service and to keep it secure and stable. Vercel keeps these log files only as long as needed for these purposes, according to its own retention rules.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfer to the USA: Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. In addition, standard contractual clauses apply.
4. Running a scan
What is sent: the fields you fill in on the scan page, that is the ad image (optional), the ad copy (optional) and the context line (optional). All three are optional, but you need an image or copy for a scan.
Purpose: to create the AI report you asked for. Legal basis: providing the service you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Recipient: our server function forwards the content to the Gemini API of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (model: Gemini 2.5 Flash). Under the Gemini API terms that apply to operators in Switzerland and the EEA, Google does not use the submitted content or the responses to improve its products, processes them under its data processing terms, and logs them for a limited period only to detect and prevent violations of its Prohibited Use Policy. Google may store this data transiently or cache it in any country where Google or its agents have facilities. Transfer: Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Storage: AdMind does not save your image, your copy or the report on a server. The report is shown only in your browser and is gone when you reload the page.
Abuse protection: to stop mass requests, the scan function keeps your IP address and the times of your scans in its working memory for rate limiting (at most 8 scans per minute). This is not written to disk and disappears when the server instance shuts down.
Please do not upload personal data such as names, contact details or photos of private individuals, and only upload ads you are allowed to use.
5. Cookies and local storage
AdMind sets no cookies and uses no tracking or analytics tools. Fonts are your device's system fonts; nothing is loaded from other companies while you browse. The scanner stores two entries in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device:
admind_scans_v1: how many free scans this browser has used. Purpose: the free-scan limit. Kept until you clear your browser data.admind_pro_v1: only set if Pro is unlocked in this browser. Kept until you clear your browser data.
You can delete both at any time by clearing this website's data in your browser settings.
6. Contact by email
If you write to us by email, we use your message and email address only to answer you. We delete it when your request is finished, at the latest after 12 months, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
7. Your rights
You have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing and to receive it in a portable format. Write to kontakt@msstrategies.ch. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Switzerland to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB), in the EU to the authority in your country.
